The signatures are written in blue, red or black pencil, or faded ink, and are each on different types and quality of paper stocks, suggesting they were collected over a period of time.
This belief is further supported by the dates appearing at the bottom of approximately half of the items, spanning a time frame beginning on 5 June and ending on 11 October 1946.
