This is a grouping of eleven (11) individual items pertaining to the participation of Germany in the Spanish Civil War from 1936 to 1939. Specifically, this lot includes - a cased Spanish Cross in Gold with crossed swords,
- a cased Spanish Cross in Silver with crossed swords,
- an uncased Spanish Cross in Bronze with crossed swords,
- a Spanish Service Cuff Title,
- a Silver Condor Legion Tank Badge,
- a miniature Condor Legion Tank Badge mounted as a stickpin,
- a miniature Spanish Cross in Silver with crossed swords mounted as a stickpin,
- a completed and embossed award document verifying the issue of the Spanish Service Next of Kin medal to the widow of Hans von MORNER,
- the Bronze Spanish Cross Next of Kin Medal that originally accompanied the award document,
- a Spanish Government issued commemorative enamel lapel pin with Iron Cross and swastika in beveled style
- and an enamel Spanish Government issued commemorative stickpin with twisted pin with eagle and swastika produced in a flat configuration.
All of the items in this lot are original to the period and are in exceptional condition for their age, with the sole exception of the award document which has stains and damage due to it being submerged under water in a trunk that was located in a flooded basement.
